DRR In The Studio {Connie Mosier Studio Portraits}

Nice to have a man in the studio!  It gave me a chance to use some lighting styles that I can't use with women, babies or children.  With men I can use light to create more shadows and character, with women and children I like to keep the light soft and even.  It only took me two years to get this guy in front of my camera; he needed to update his facebook profile so we created some nice portraits while I had his attention.   As with most men you only have about a 10 15 minute attention span to get your shot and I think we did quite well in capturing a bit of DRR's personality.  

Canon 5D Mark II , Tamron 20-75mm, AB 800, 4x6 Softbox and a 580 EXII at 1/8th power for a kicker light.
