Lucy . . . 22 Days Old

Something so sweet about newborn sessions . . .  Lucy was 22 days old for her first photo session so we were lucky to get a few sleepy shots but I really like the ones I got.  Then we had time for a few with her big brother and some with the family to record this special event in this families timeline.  Congratulations on the newest member of the family and I had so much fun with Cameron, he is quite the young gentleman!

A Family Affair - Connie Mosier Studio

When I chatted with Katie about her maternity session and found out she had three little ones she wanted to include in her special day I suggested we do an outdoor session for a more casual relaxed setting.  I thought it might be fun to use a little park that offered a shallow stream we could use for some fun shots with the family and Katie was was all for it. I think the park was the perfect setting to capture some beautiful portraits of Katie and her family.  You would never know from all the smiles that it had just stopped raining before our session, there was no sun, and it turned so chilly the kids were wrapping in blankets between shots!

Thanks Katie & Rick for a great session, and I look forward to meeting your newest family member for a newborn session!!  

 

German Family Session

This is the final instalment of the German / Palmreuter family sessions.  We began to document the family last November with parents and siblings, then another session of 40 in January with parents, children, spouses, siblings, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  The family photos will be made into a coffee table book to celebrate mom and dad's 60th wedding anniversary.  What a wonderful and thoughtful gift it will make!

LaVigne Family Milford Central Park

Gathering a family of 16 with grandparents, all the siblings and grandchildren is quite a feat to accomplish for a photo session.   I think everyone involved will agree it was worth the effort!  What a fun group I enjoyed meeting all of you and recording your special day!

Arina & Alexey Tawas Beach {Connie Mosier Studio}

It's been a couple of years since I photographed these two and I was so happy to work in a quick session while I was in town.  How they have grown and such great kids to work with they make my job easy! We met at Tawas State Park late in the day to capture the beautiful light and I also got to meet the two newest members of the family!  Sure makes me wish I lived closer to a beach . . . 

Luke Five Year Twins Eighteen Month {Connie Mosier Studio}

I love capturing important milestones and this session was to mark Luke's five year and the twins 18 month.  Each session mom has a theme in mind, and this year it was Star Wars for Luke and Breakfast at Tiffany's for the twins.  The girls had so much fun with the pearls I think dad is going to be in trouble some day!  Thanks again mom for putting together a fun session with the kids!
